 John Burris joined Sourcefire in July 2008 and serves as its Chief Executive Officer. Previously, John was a key contributor to the decade of growth achieved by Citrix Systems, Inc., a publicly traded information technology (Nasdaq:CTXS) company specializing in application delivery infrastructure. John served as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Services at Citrix from January 2001 until July 2008 when he joined Sourcefire, during which time the company's annual revenues increased from $470 million to $1.4 billion, and before that, as Senior Vice President, Services from July 1999. John's leadership of Citrix's global sales and services organization, which grew to include approximately 2,500 Citrix professionals and 4,500 channel and distribution partners worldwide, was marked by the implementation of an innovative sales strategy which rewards value-added selling; the creation of a team of Enterprise Relationship Managers who support large accounts; the strengthening and realignment of Citrix's channel organization; and Citrix's aggressive expansion into high-growth markets across the globe. Additionally, John played a key role in managing many of the acquisition integrations at Citrix.
Prior to joining Citrix, Mr. Burris was employed by Lucent Technologies, a publicly traded communications networks company, from 1994 to 1999 as Vice President and General Manager of the Gulf States region. Prior to 1994, Mr. Burris was employed in various sales and customer service capacities for AT&T Corp., including terms as a managing director for AT&T's Australia (Sydney), Asia/Pacific (Hong Kong) as well as Europe (London) operations.

 Martin Roesch founded Sourcefire in 2001 and serves as its Chief Technology Officer. A respected authority on intrusion prevention and detection technology and forensics, he is responsible for the technical direction and product development efforts. Martin, who has 17 years industry experience in network security and embedded systems engineering, is also the author and lead developer of the Snort® Intrusion Prevention and Detection System (www.snort.org) that forms the foundation for the Sourcefire 3D System.
Over the past 10 years, Martin has developed various network security tools and technologies, including intrusion prevention and detection systems, honeypots, network scanners, and policy enforcement systems for organizations such as GTE Internetworking, Stanford Telecommunications, Inc., and the Department of Defense. He has applied his knowledge of network security to penetration testing and network forensics for numerous government and large corporate customers. Martin has been interviewed as an industry expert in multiple technology publications, as well as print and online news services such as MSNBC, Wall Street Journal, CNET, ZDNet, and numerous books. Snort has been featured in Scientific American, on A&E's Secret Places: Inside the FBI, and in several books, such as Network Intrusion Detection: An Analysts Handbook, Intrusion Signatures and Analysis, Maximum Security, Hacking Exposed, and others.
In 2006, Martin was named as one of InformationWeek's 18 "Innovators and Influencers" and one of the Tech Council of Maryland's "Most Influential CTOs in Maryland." Martin has also been the recipient of the 2004 InfoWorld IT Heroes Innovator Award as well as winning the 2004 "40 Under 40" award from the Baltimore Business Journal.

 Tom McDonough joined Sourcefire in September of 2002 and serves as its
President and Chief Operating Officer. Tom is responsible for day-to-day
operations of Sourcefire.
Before joining Sourcefire, Tom was the Chief Executive Officer
of Mountain Wave, Inc., an early stage information security company based in
Northern Virginia. The company was acquired by Symantec Corporation in July
of 2002. Prior to Mountain Wave, Tom was Senior Vice President of Worldwide
Sales for Riverbed Technologies, a leader in mobile and wireless computing.
He subsequently became the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales
for Aether Systems, Inc., a leader in the wireless data market after Aether
acquired Riverbed in 2000. As a senior member of the Aether management team,
Tom was responsible for developing the company's sales strategy as well
as achieving revenue and market share objectives.
Previously, Tom spent six years with Axent Technologies, Inc.,
one of the first network security companies where he was an original member
of the management team and Vice President of North American Sales and
Professional Services. Tom built and managed both the direct and indirect sales
organizations as well as the company's Professional Services organization
which grew from $0 in 1994 to over $100 Million in 1999. The company's
rapid growth led to an Initial Public Offering (IPO) in April of 1996. The
company was acquired by Symantec Corporation in December of 2000
for $960 Million.
Tom holds a B.A. in Economics and an MBA from the University of

 Todd Headley joined Sourcefire in April of 2003 and serves as its
Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for financial, legal,
personnel, IT and administrative matters for the company.
Prior to joining Sourcefire, Todd held similar positions
at privately held companies in the Washington, D.C. area. He was
CFO for BNX, a network access management company; CFO of Riverbed
Technologies, an enterprise wireless applications company, VP & Controller
at Roadshow International, a supply chain execution company and
Controller at POMS Corporation, a manufacturing supply chain execution
company. Additionally, Mr. Headley served as CFO for FBR Technology
Venture Partners, a Virginia-based venture capital firm. Mr. Headley
has helped build and guide companies from their early stages through
significant growth periods, including their eventual sale to publicly
traded companies.
Todd has extensive international operations experience
and began his career at Arthur Andersen in 1985 as an auditor in
their Enterprise Group.

 Michele Perry joined Sourcefire in March of 2004 and serves as its
Chief Marketing Officer. In her role, Michele is responsible for
overseeing all of Sourcefire’s marketing and product management
functions, including branding, public relations and lead generation.
A 20 year marketing and business executive, Michele will drive
Sourcefire’s branding and marketing campaigns and establish
programs that contribute to the growth of the company’s customer
base.
Previously, Michele held senior marketing and management positions at USinternetworking,
Software AG and IBM, as well as operating her own strategic marketing and
business development consultancy, MPB Strategies, which specialized in
providing consulting and strategy services to fast growing companies. At
USinternetworking, she led her team in creating a new business category which contributed to the company’s
efforts to complete an initial public offering (IPO) and drive first year
contracts to $158M.

 Douglas McNitt joined Sourcefire in September of 2007 and serves as our General Counsel and Secretary.
McNitt joins Sourcefire after serving as General Counsel, Secretary and Executive Vice President at webMethods, Inc. In this position, he was charged with recruiting, growing and managing a full-service in-house legal function across geographically diverse operations in the Americas, Europe, Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific. While at webMethods, McNitt was the lead executive responsible for sourcing, negotiating and acquiring six privately-held businesses. In addition, he managed the sale of webMethods to Software AG. Previously, McNitt was an Associate General Counsel at America Online, Inc. where he gained significant experience in evaluating, structuring, negotiating, drafting and closing a variety of mergers, acquisitions, direct investments and other significant equity transactions both domestically and abroad.
Douglas received his J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School, an A.B. from Stanford University, and studied Foreign Affairs at the University of Virginia. ^ top |

Ashoff joined Sourcefire in April of 2003 as Vice President
of Engineering. Tom is responsible for the company's engineering
infrastructure and processes as well as executing Sourcefire's
aggressive product development roadmap.
Prior to joining Sourcefire, Tom was Vice President, Strategic
Product Engineering at Network Associates Laboratories, Network
Associates (McAfee)' Technology Research Division, where he directed
strategic research efforts for the company. He was formerly the
Vice President of Engineering for the PGP Security Business Unit
of Network Associates, where he managed the development life cycle
of four product lines: Desktop Privacy (PGP), Server Privacy (PGP),
Vulnerability Assessment Products (CyberCop), and Network Privacy
(Gauntlet). His responsibilities encompassed strategic and tactical
Product planning, Product Engineering, Quality Assurance, Technical
Publications, Configuration Management, and Release Engineering.
Tom joined Network Associates through the acquisition of Trusted
Information Systems (TIS) in 1998. At TIS, Tom was the Senior Development
Manager for the Gauntlet Firewall and VPN products. Prior to TIS,
Tom developed software for GTE Spacenet, Contel ASC, HRB Singer,
and the National Security Agency.

Czupak joined Sourcefire in October of 2002 and serves as
its Vice President of International & Business Development.
John is responsible for the growth and management of Sourcefire's
strategic partnerships and alliances. John is also responsible
for Sourcefire's international offices and affiliated revenue.
Before joining Sourcefire, John was the Senior Vice President
of Worldwide Sales for Mountain Wave, Inc., which was acquired

for developing and executing the company's sales and business
strategy throughout these regions. The company grew to over $100
million in revenue from 1994 - 1999, which led to an Initial
Public Offering (IPO) in April of 1996 and the later acquisition
by Symantec in December of 2000 for $960 Million.

 John Negron joined Sourcefire in July of 2002 and serves as Vice President of Sales, responsible for customer acquisition and revenue generation
in North America.
Before joining Sourcefire, John had extensive sales management experience at four technology start-ups, including Riverbed Technologies, AXENT Technologies, and EDP Security (SunGard) – in which he was instrumental in enabling two acquisitions and an Initial Public Offering (IPO).
Throughout his sales and sales management career of 20+ years, John has built direct and indirect selling teams to penetrate the U.S. Government, Enterprise, SMB, and International markets.

 Leslie Pendergrast joined Sourcefire in February of 2009 as Chief People Officer. In this role she is responsible for human resources strategy and programs on a global basis.
Leslie brings almost 20 years of experience in human resources including management roles at American Express, Certified Vacations/Alamo, and Citrix Systems, Inc. During her nearly decade-long tenure at Citrix, Leslie held a similar role and was responsible for developing and leading a human resources infrastructure to support the company's growth from an 80-person company to a global organization of approximately 2,500 employees. In 2005 she left Citrix to build a fitness and wellness studio and later to form a consulting company focused on human resource practice improvement.
Leslie's breadth of experience will serve Sourcefire well as the company executes on its corporate imperative to recruit, train, develop and retain world class people.
