Effective November 10, 2014, legacy Sourcefire products, software and related services are available only from Cisco and Cisco Authorized Distributors when transacting all new business. For selected software subscription and service renewals, ordering will continue through Sourcefire until February 28, 2015 in order to provide a smooth transition and avoid the expiration of service contracts.
Future purchases of legacy Sourcefire solutions are subject to Cisco terms and conditions when purchased from the Cisco Global Price List, including Cisco policies for end of sale and end of life of products, services, and warranties, as well as returns and exchanges. Renewals transacted at Sourcefire will continue to be subject to Sourcefire terms and conditions.
What does this mean for you?
- If you are not a Cisco Authorized Partner: You can continue to place orders with Sourcefire for only software and service renewal quotes when initiated by the Sourcefire Customer Loyalty team until February 28, 2015.
- If you are both a Sourcefire and Cisco Authorized Partner: You can also continue to place orders with Sourcefire for only software and service renewal quotes when initiated by the Sourcefire Customer Loyalty team until February 28th, 2015.
