Sourcefire accepts credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and American Express) and company purchase orders that are accompanied by a signed Sourcefire sales order document. If you use a credit card, we will charge your card in U.S. currency when the order is received. Training credits and/or registrations must be used within six months from the date of acquisition or will result in forfeiture of class credits; tuition is nonrefundable. Substitution Policy
Student substitutions may be made at any time prior to the start of the class.
Cancellation Policy
Students may cancel a classroom registration without penalty by emailing Sourcefire services at least fifteen (15) business days prior to the start date of the course. Cancellations received within ten (10) business days of the start of the class will result in forfeiture of class credits; tuition is nonrefundable. Pricing, registration terms, and conditions are subject to change without notice. Students may use the Sourcefire Student Guarantee to reschedule a class within a six (6) month period (see the Sourcefire Guarantee at the bottom of the page).
No Show Policy
Failure to attend the course will be considered a “no show” and will result in forfeiture of class credits; tuition is nonrefundable.
Reimbursement Policy
If Sourcefire is forced to cancel a course for any reason, Sourcefire will provide as much advance notice as possible. Liability is limited to the course fee only.
Right of Dismissal
In order to maintain a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, Sourcefire reserves the right to dismiss a participant from any training course that acts inappropriately or disruptively to other participants or the instructor. In the case of dismissal, Sourcefire's liability will be limited to refunding course fees paid by the participant or participant's company. The Sourcefire Guarantee:
All guarantee policies apply to onsite classes. To utilize the Turnover and Student Guarantees, students must register for a scheduled public class.
- Student Guarantee: Students may retake the same class/version once within six (6) months of the original class attended at no extra charge. Student is responsible for bringing the original courseware manual or may contact Sourcefire services to purchase a new one.
- Turnover Guarantee: In cases where an employee leaves a company within sixty (60) days of the original Sourcefire class date, that company may enroll one additional employee in the same class/version within six (6) months of the original student's class at no extra charge. Student is responsible for bringing the original courseware manual or may contact Sourcefire services to purchase a new one.
- Certification Guarantee: If a student doesn’t pass the certification exam on the first attempt, they are guaranteed a second attempt within the original sixty (60) day subscription period.
Guarantees are subject to space, availability, require a 60-day prior notice, and must be from the same product release number/version. A supplementary charge for new student manuals will be assessed if the original manuals are not used by the returning or turnover student. An authorized letter, on company letterhead, is required from an authorized representative when a turnover guarantee is executed. All guarantees must be utilized in a Sourcefire training facility on the posted schedule dates.
