DoD Directive 8500.1 — Information Assurance Implementation — requires that critical AIT assets be protected with an intrusion detection system. These requirements extend to both classified and unclassified networks.

Our intrusion sensors have full capability to operate in a stand-alone fashion in small enclaves where implementation of an enterprise solution is neither practical nor cost-effective.
